WHO WE ARE

Background of the Community Cluster

North Ballymena Community Cluster was established in January 2013 and aims to improve life and conditions in the area of North Ballymena by supporting the local community groups.

We believe that “people” are the heartbeat of community life and without the hard work of those who volunteer, the great activities and programmes that our groups run would simply not take place.

Our Aims in Partnership Working

The cluster encourages partnership working and supports learning together and from each other, sharing common issues and finding solutions to common problems, all whilst creating a strong collective voice for the residents of the area.

We will continue to work to develop strong working relationships with other local community and voluntary groups to reduce duplication of services and to maximise the benefits to the people of the North Ballymena area.  It’s all about the community connections!

Volunteers always welcome!

It’s impossible to help people without people helping others. We always need volunteers who love to help.

Funding for Projects

North Ballymena Community Cluster is funded by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council

Additional funding has been greatly appreciated from MEABC Covid Recovery Funding. This has helped the member groups and others participate.

Funding support from Cooperation Ireland has continually supported our projects.
